Our Next Chapter
After 12 years in downtown Mebane, our storefront has closed, but Big Oak is far from done. We’re still restoring vintage gliders, chairs, stools, and heaters, and we’re always taking new restoration projects. Call 919-475-2375 or email bigoakrestoration@gmail.com to get started.
Coming Soon: Online Store
We’re getting ready to open an online store where you can choose a vintage metal glider, pick your pattern and your own color, and have it restored and shipped to you.
Look out for the email sign up link coming, so you can stay in the loop!
To our Mebane community: thank you for 12 wonderful years!
Stay tuned—we’re just getting started.
Our Collection
More Than Furniture
Why We Restore
Big Oak Restoration is built on the belief that these pieces are more than furniture—they’re heirlooms of American craftsmanship. Each weld, curve, and pattern reflects a time when things were made to last. By restoring them with care, we honor the hands that built them and the memories they’ve carried. Our work ensures these timeless designs live on, continuing to gather families and stories for generations.
